Involvement
Dragon Age: The Veilguard
When Rook and Neve Gallus corner Venatori member Albin Bataris and the Thread smuggler selling him a red lyrium relic, Knight-Commander Lenos appears with Magister Bataris, who bails his son out of trouble. Neve quickly accuses Lenos of being bribed and dismissed his threats to write her up. Lenos then departs, declaring he would be arresting the smuggler, unless she wants the magister to pardon her too.
Later on, the Veilguard discover evidence that Lenos was working with the Venatori and is in their pocket.
During the quest The Soul of a City, Dorian Pavus reveals that after rescuing the Dalish prisoners from Arlathan Crater, the Venatori lost people to Elgar'nan's ritual sacrifices and to Rook's attack. Furthermore, the Venatori assassinated Archon Radonis during the blight dragon attack, and the Archon's Palace have tried to keep the news of his death from spreading ever since then. With the Venatori intimidating any candidates from stepping up, the people of Minrathous are left afraid and desperate for leadership. Leadership of the Venatori has fallen to Knight-Commander Lenos, who intends to bring about fear and chaos in the city so that the people will be desperate enough to support the Venatori.
When the Veilguard investigate Venatori activity on Dorian Pavus's behalf, they confront Lenos in the Undercity of the Waterworks and kill him in the ensuing confrontation. In the adjourning room, they find Lenos was in possession of detailed documents on the Venatori's plans for Tevinter, which would grant enough leverage for either Dorian or Maevaris Tilani to become the next Archon.
