Note of Sale is a plot item in Dragon Age: Origins.
Acquisition
Part of the original process to recruit Shale before the golem was cut from the base version of the game and later added through The Stone Prisoner DLC, it is unavailable via normal means.
After receiving the Circle Letter at Wilhelm's Cottage, it was intended to activate the scripts in the General Store which would allow access to Note of Sale.
