Redcliffe Vault Key is a plot item and a key in Dragon Age: Origins.

Acquisition

Looted from the chamberlain (Human, Normal) encountered off the main hall in Redcliffe Castle's main floor.

Involvement

The key opens the vault on the second floor, which can also be lockpick with 60 Cunning or 10 less Cunning for each talent invested on the Deft Hands tree.

Notes

• The Warden can obtain the key after initially meeting Connor. In this case, they will fight several skeletons along with the chamberlain. Unlocking the door, either by using the key or lockpicking, grants 50 experience.
• The vault door will close after the Warden rescues Connor; it is recommended to obtain the loot sooner as to prevent having to lockpick the door later.
