Repulsion Field is a mage spell from the Arcane tree in Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening.
Information
- Mana cost: 20 per enemy knocked back (unaffected by Fatigue).
- Pulses once every 4 seconds.
Notes
- A single Mage can sustain only one of the following: Repulsion Field, Arcane Field, Mystical Negation.
- In contrast to the Glyph of Repulsion, which is based on the OnEnter event (triggered when enemy enters the area), this spell is heartbeat based. In-between the heartbeats the spellcaster is unprotected and since the intervals are too long most enemies will be able to get through to the spellcaster. Due to this limitation this spell offers insufficient protection and will not prevent most stealthed enemies from sneaking up on you.
